As of a bit ago Hinds was hacked on a few platforms including GD and Discord. Please avoid clicking any links or interacting with whoever is on that account. They will likely target mods. @everyone

Just giving everyone a heads up and some instructions for the following days. It is very likely that further developments will be made in the outing of Sinie / Hinds as a predator and I want to reinforce that the mods are not to make large "statements" on the matter or anything related to it. I obviously don't mind if you talk about these things here and there but speaking publicly about it will only make the situation harder to navigate for those involved. Thanks @everyone for your cooperation in all of this.

Killoway has been demoted for breaking Moderator guidelines. More specifically, they helped someone dox other community members. This completely goes against the expectations and trust put into Moderators. The specifics of this demotion are not publicized by us, as what they did is already being spread in the Russian community who are most affected by this demotion. There is no need for any of you to comment on it either.

As seen in the image, you can report level and profile comments, as well as levels, directly in-game and have them sent into #reports in a neat format. You can also set up folders that log all your sends per rating type. It currently only works for @everyone on Windows and Android, but more platforms (and features) may be added in the future. Try it out with the attached file! Note that it has to be installed manually and will not have any automatic updates. Also, obviously this mod is only meant for us and sharing it would be considered a major violation of #rules. However, simply showing the mod on a stream or similar is fine (but not reporting, per the pinned rules in #reports). (edited)

@everyone Mods are being targeted for reports via old messages out of context that use the term "cp." Discord's garbage lobotomite support team is banning for them. Please delete any instances you find, there's no telling if you'll get your account back when you try to argue the ban.

As a Moderator and member of this server, @everyone is expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, maturity, and grace both with the community and here. Recently, events including the argument in #discussion yesterday have pushed far beyond what is acceptable conduct for a Moderator. We have been seeing a decline in level-headedness when it comes to disagreements, where some are quick to jump to belittlement and denigration instead of seeking a positive outcome. You are a team, and should treat each other as such. In accordance, we will enforce rule 1 more harshly going forward within this server.

AutoNick and I have made a new notifications and utility bot for Geometry Dash called Rateon. Similar to UltimateGDBot, it will post any new Rated, Daily, Weekly, and Event Levels, as well as Moderator promotions and demotions. It also has more commands for various game information. However, the bot will remain private and limited to only a few servers to avoid the rate limiting that comes at scale, which means that its notifications will be posted instantly (unless it is down at the time). For new features, this bot also supports Lists, so new Rated Lists will be posted alongside other notifications, and you can search up Lists with its commands. Additionally, there are commands to view both Gauntlets and Leaderboards directly within Discord, as well as a separated Moderator list for easier access. Before this bot is released in servers like Geometry Dash, Geometry Dash Leaderboards, and Viprin+Paste (replacing UltimateGDBot for notifications), we are doing a short testing period in this server. Notifications will be posted in #game-notifications, and you can try out commands in #rateon-test. The former channel will remain even after the testing period, while the latter will be archived. However, you will still be able to use the bot's commands in our general text channels whenever it is appropriate. Also, after release, we will be moving Wod's tenure tracking to this bot, as well as a List suggestion command (for rating) that will be exclusive to this server.
